St. Bonaventure and St. Francis

The original is a sepia-toned 8 x 10 fountain pen piece. St. Bonaventure is the cornerstone of the Franciscan school of philosophy and the famous biographer of St. Francis. St. Thomas Aquinas was an intimate friend of his, and he one day found St. Bonaventure in ecstasy talking to St. Francis, which is the scene depicted here.
